Give Life: The Transplant Journey was created in response to the
desperate need to determine what interventions work to promote
donation awareness. To learn if this is effective, we ask visitors to
complete pre- and post-surveys of their knowledge and attitudes
about transplantation and donation. To gain a general picture of our
visitors, a few demographic questions are also asked, but they cannot
identify individual visitors. To understand patterns of navigation
through the Journey, our usage log tracks paths through the site.
This will also contribute to assessing the Journey's effectiveness.
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise divulge any information about
visitors to the Journey without their express permission.

If you choose to use this web site to send an online card or an email
to your family, the recipient's name and email address, as well as
your name and email address, are sent directly to the mail server.
We do not and cannot view this information, and it is not stored.

Please note that any information you provide to a state donor registry
is collected by that state or other organization. As such, the Journey
has no access to that information.
